        What Skills do Linux Systems Engineers Need?

        Due to the popularity of the Linux OS, it is by definition a very sophisticated and complicated bit of technology and requires expert knowledge and many hard skills. A four-year degree in computer science, systems engineering, or a related field is ideal, although most companies are now more interested in your practical experience doing the job.
